Licensed Therapist – LPC or MLP
Full-Time | Middleville, Michigan | 25–30 Clients per Week
White Oak Counseling & Recovery is looking for an experienced, compassionate LPC and/or MLP licensed therapist to join our growing practice in Middleville, Michigan.
We are a small, locally owned counseling practice—not a corporate environment. Our team values strong clinical care, collaboration, flexibility, and a friendly workplace where people know and support one another.
Our administrative staff handles scheduling, billing, insurance, and other administrative responsibilities so our therapists can focus on providing excellent care to their clients.

Position Expectations
Applicants must be willing and able to maintain a caseload of approximately 25–30 client sessions per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy based on areas of competence and training
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Provide evidence-based, ethical, and client-centered care
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals when appropriate
- Participate as an active member of our small clinical team
- Allow the client opportunity to explore how faith plays into their healing
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Hold an active Michigan license as an LPC or MLP
- Have a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Be willing to see approximately 25–30 clients per week
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, empathy, professionalism, and integrity
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Be comfortable working within a practice guided by Christian values
Preferred Training and Specialties
Additional training, certifications, or specialized areas of practice are valued and may be considered when determining compensation.
Experience or training in areas such as the following is especially welcome:
- Trauma-focused therapy
- EMDR
- Couples or family counseling
- Child or adolescent counseling
- PTSD and trauma treatment
- Other clinical specialties that complement the needs of our practice
